After an emotional message to her late aunt early this year, the spoken word master leon imaniboy it's like he has taken a break from penning down.Compairing this year from last , imaniboy has released only one piece unlike last year where he had back to back pieces of spoken word .
From his debut "Hatukai Sana ",which he was condemning bad politicians and sending a message to them that it won't take long , imaniboy has been outstanding and used every single chance that he had to produce good content.After the release of "Karibuni kwetu" ,the spoken word guru has been on the limelight and his talented writings were being compared to that of king kaka by his supporters.
Since then imaniboy landed lucrative deals with different recording lable like T.H. Records which is under the c.e.o Pattydema classic .Under T.H records imaniboy gave his best as he released four different pieces of spoken word that's deed well but "Rada ni Rao that he featured Nymimi come out to be the best of the best.Rada ni Rao was about the ODM leader Honourable Raila Amolo Odinga.Though he dint make it clear whether he was payed to campaign for Honourable Raila odinga , but according to that piece it's 100% sure that he supports mr Raila amolo odinga. Rada ni Rao has been the new #tag in town since it's release and it gained so much popularity after Orange Democratic movement communication officer Mr Etale posted that piece.Since then we expected Imaniboy to give us more of his talent as he had promised an E.P this year but it's like he's taking another move.

"Mtoto wa nyoka ni nyoka na kamwe hafunzwi kuuma".An instagram post by Imaniboy before his new journey .It's like he want to follow his Father's footsteps according to that post . IMANIBOY's father mr Fred nyongesa ongalo was a veteran journalist who worked with Kenya Broadcasting Cooperation (kbc) as news anchor . According to an interview with ghetto radio ,imaniboy's dream before being an artist ,was to be a news reporter or an anchor like his retired father since he was high school.So far through his youtube channel L.I.B trends which is now his new lable under his name, imaniboy has been hosting and doing interviews for kenyan celebrities like Geoffrey LuGAYE (mende man), Subiri Jay the trending artist who featured inmate Macoroma in an emotional song #Wasininisahau.Without further judgement whether he has quit poetry or not we wait and see because he promised to be back after accomplishing his dream.We say all the best imaniboy ,and all the best for L.l.B
